Dinner and a Show

On July 1, 2010, WTEINO presents its first ‘Dinner & A Show’ event, the first of many that will bring together local chefs, restaurants and entertainers, all under one roof for an evening of delicious food, a little theater, and some music.

The first Super Club-styled event takes place at LeRoux’s, a special event venue at 1700 Louisiana Avenue and features the culinary creations of Chef Leon Courtney (Antoine’s, Plimsoll Club), with entertainment by the Ashley Branch Duo and local playwright and composer Franklin Davis IV, a recent participant in BET’s Sunday Best, a Gospel music talent show. Doors open at 7 pm; dinner is served at 8:00 pm and the show starts at 10:00 pm.

WTEINO is a new, minority owned business, which began as a web-based restaurant recommendation and food blog site for visitors and locals, alike. After developing a network of advertising restaurants and people looking for someplace ‘new’ to eat, WTEINO developed and launched New Orleans’ most unique tour,‘WTEINO’s Taste & See Tour.’ Guests are exposed to New Orleans eateries tucked away in the neighborhoods where New Orleanians live, eat and entertain. (Press released attached). In addition to Dinner & A Show, WTEINO will soon be launching the first ever Taste & See “Tunes” Tour, which combines a dinner and multiple stops to local music venues.
